Pound Ridge

Welcome to Pound Ridge

An eclectic town that balances love for the arts with time spent outdoors
Not far from the Connecticut border is the picturesque New York town of Pound Ridge. It might only be an hour from New York City, but it isn’t a huge commuter community, and it feels worlds away from the bustle. Pound Ridge is a dream location for those looking for peace and quiet within a close-knit community. With just over 5,000 residents, a well-maintained business district, and a dozen charming boutique stores and cafes, it’s easy to see why this thriving small town is beloved by its residents.
Pound Ridge is mainly a residential community surrounded by lush New York nature. There are five local preserves and the Pound Ridge Golf Club, giving residents lots of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Throughout its tree-lined streets, there’s an unexpected fresh feel to the homes here. While many homes date back through the town’s history, there are many modern mid-century homes that lend a sophisticated feel. The big cities are an easy drive but not the focus of Pound Ridge, which means when living here, life becomes simplified to all the best parts.
